Fantastic hotel really close to great restaurants, a bakery, little super market, and a major RER/metro station (Nation). I felt safe walking around late at night, although there were several women hanging out along the side streets between the major roads that appeared to be looking for a night companion. But you'll see that pretty much everywhere you go once night falls. The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. The kitchenette was a great feature I took advantage of daily. It comes with a mini fridge, microwave, single electric stove top, and hot pot. The dishes and utensils are enough for 2 people, with a single pot and pan to use. There was no sponge or soap for washing dishes. There is a wine opener, but no wine glasses. There are 2 water glasses that can be used though. Coffee with liquid cream and sugar stocked daily. One surprise perk was a local cell phone that comes with each room, which has cellular data free of charge. It was tremendously helpful for mapping trips and booking tickets without having to spend extra money paying for daily roaming charges through my own phone. They called it a 'Handy' phone. Not all buildings have an elevator, and the spiral staircases can be dangerous for young and elderly visitors staying in those buildings. I didn't try the breakfast in the morning, but it was E14 for adults and E12 for kids if not included with your room. Overall a great experience and I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! We booked this hotel as part of a semi-independent Europe vacation through Gate 1 online travel agency. Keep in mind, you are booking a 3 star hotel so if you are looking for luxury, this is not the right place for you. You will be very happy, as ny husband and I were, though, if you are looking for a comfortable stay in Paris that doesn't break the bank and is near a good access point to all touristy interests. The staff was always friendly and eager to help as needed. Our room was large and had a kitchennette which was really useful since we were staying for 6 days. The location is outstanding as the area is very safe and there is a major train station just a couple of blocks away (Nation). There is also a little market just a couple of doors down that sells convenient food items and opens until late at night. The breakfast was great quality and always tasty with a variety of menu items including fruit, (great!) coffee, cheese, pastries, cheese and ham, yogurt, cereal, scrambled eggs and sausage. The bathroom was spacious and housekeeping was great. Overall highly recommended for a balance of convenience, comfort and value.
